Each one teach one

The conference on Water Operators’ Partnerships (WOP’s) brought together over 125 water operators, researchers and policy makers. In the key-note speeches, the head of the United Nations’ Global Water Operators’ Partnership Alliance (GWOPA) stressed the importance for more of such partnerships in achieving universal access to drinking water and sanitation in a safe environment. The director of World Waternet launched the ‘iWOP’, a new concept based on the  existing WOP’s. The conference offered the opportunity to reflect on the current experiences with WOP’s and discuss the possible ways forward.
